Those Kind of People

Drew and I recently took a big step in our marriage. It was a decision we made after some very careful consideration. We did research. We discussed. And then, we took action. We bought a deep freeze.

The big step.
We are deep freeze people.

Then, we took it a step further and bought a quarter cow. We are officially "those kind of people" now. We buy meat in fractions of cows.
Beef. It's what's for dinner.
Here's the thing, we try to eat healthier by limiting the amount of carbs we eat. So, that leaves us with a diet of primarily meats and vegetables. And Drew is a meatasaurus (apparently that's actually a real word because it I googled it and the internets knew what I was talking about). Now we have meat in the basement and we don't have to scope out the sale flyers for good deals! We have roasts, stew meat, steaks, ribs, ground beef, more roasts...

Roasts.
Lately, Drew responds to questions like "Do you think we should buy some new Keurig cups for the coffee maker?" and comments about the fact that bacon is on sale this week with a reminder that we are deep freeze people now. Even unrelated comments about daily activities get me a look and a "Well, we're deep freeze people now."

More meat in the door.
And yes, there are three cartons of Edy's ice cream down there. It's fine though, we're deep freeze people.
