One of my favorite treats, Christmas or otherwise, marzipan. My brother got some for me to enjoy this year. Yum!

Movie night at our house. Christmas Vacation and some cheese popcorn made for a pretty great experience. Also, Happy Festivus!

This is the way the snow has melted along the stepping stone path in the backyard. I thought it was pretty cool.

This tea is amazing. Ah. Mazing. It's the perfect beverage for addressing Christmas cards while listening to Christmas music.

Kramer has bad breath. Like really bad. So we got her these dental chew sticks and they seem to help. Plus she likes them and chews them to bits so I can't get a clear, focused shot of her in action.

Drew's mom dropped off some of his old ornaments. My heart melted just a little bit upon unpacking them.

I'm wrapping presents today. It's one of my favorite things to do!

This is my kitchen counter right now and I haven't even started dinner. Mondays have a way of keeping me grounded. And sometimes grumpy.

We received some much needed rain last night. There were still drops on the crab apple tree in the backyard when we got up for breakfast. So pretty!

Our Christmas cards have arrived! I was so excited to open the box and then equally excited to find them so festively packaged.

A friend at work surprised me with this afternoon treat. Three cheers for salted caramel cupcakes!

This was parked in front of our house when I got home from work. It's a mystery. Also, now I can hear them grinding away at something.

I'm not sure how this happened, but it made me smile. Did Kramer want to have an ornament on the tree? Was she playing that close to the tree and it got stuck? So many questions and still I laugh.

Boo to grapes with seeds. Especially when you didn't realize they were grapes with seeds until the whole grape was in your mouth and you started to chew. Boo.
